The Alliance Group (www.teamtag.com) has recently completed
building an e-commerce solution for LogoAthletic. Using an IBM AS/400e S20, Lotus Domino, Net.Commerce, Net.Data,
and Lotus eSuite, TAG built this site to provide LogoAthletic with a way to sell its products on-line and
integrate their legacy systems with their new online store.
As one of the world's largest manufacturers/distributors of licensed athletic
apparel for the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and NCAA, with an international supply chain, LogoAthletic needed to seamlessly
sell its products on-line to the general consumer market (via secure, credit card commerce) while
integrating its business to business and business to consumer operations.
Simultaneously, complement their traditional print and television advertising
with an "edutaining" web presence for e-commerce and other value-add
applications like chat sessions, contests, prizes, sweepstakes, on-line statistics and other information.
Recognizing that LogoAthletic is a world
famous company, whose clothes are worn by world famous athletes (as well
as millions of everyday athletes and non-athletes alike), TAG built this site to appeal to an incredibly
diverse audience. From our web design, navigation and overall aesthetics ... to
our e-commerce solution and marketing ... to the scalable server and back-end technologies,
this is a robust e-commerce Extranet solution. Using an IBM AS/400e S20,
IBM's Net.Commerce, SSL, Lotus Domino, Net.Data, DB2 and an appealing
combination of HTML, DHTML, Java, Shockwave and other "graphics" applications
as the foundation, TAG is also integrating Logo's in-house systems and databases
using Lotus eSuite/Domino for greater overall utilization and accessibility for mission-critical,
enterprise-wide business applications via the web.
