Objective
Now that you are familiar with several methods to
reface RPG/COBOL applications, how do you tie it all
together for the end user? WebSphere Portal Express
Plus allows you to consolidate the applications that
your users need into a secure, single interface. This
session will walk through the steps to install and
configure a portal instance using the iSeries unique
portal Configuration Wizard. The instructor will provide
tips on how to use portlets that access 5250 applications
refaced with HATS and the IBM WebFacing Tool.
At the end of this class, you will have a solid understanding
of the basic steps of WebSphere Portal Express installation
and configuration.
