Help IGNITe/400 -- Help Yourself!
While the labor that goes into
running IGNITe/400 is donated, we do have operational
expenses to keep it up and running. We have devised
an advertising program that we hope will appeal to the
largest advertisors and to the smallest ISV or Software
developer just getting started.
Rotating Ad Banners
As you can see, we run an ad banner
manager that rotates banner ads on every page of the
website (except for the Newsletter articles). The banner
manager displays the next sequential banner for every
page displayed on the site. To insure you get maximum
visibility, you need more than one banner in the rotation.
If you choose to purchase multiple banner positions,
additional banners may be the same or different banners.
Banners must be 60 x 460 pixel
standard GIF or Animated GIF files. We cannot accept
any banners over 30kb in size.
All banner ads are $50 per month
per banner with a six month minimum. Payment must be
made prior to our posting the ad.
Newsletter
IGNITe/400 publishes a monthly
electronic newsletter that reaches over 4500 iSeries
e-Business users directly. Our research indicates that
the newsletter is forwarded to an additional 3 to 5
people due to its indepth content reaching over 15,000
people each month. We publsih between the 1st and 15th
of each month.
Our newsletters and articles are
permanently archived. The archive will be maintained
for at least two years on the web site.
We will offer two advertising
opportunties:
- One ad in the email newsletter. This will follow
the Intro paragraph and be the first thing a read
sees. This ad should be a headline plus one paragraph
of 150 words and a URL to your website.
We will preceed the ad with the text: "This newsletter
is made possible by: your name"
The rate is $1000 per newsletter. Newsletters must
be purchased in advance. Months will be sold on a
first come first server basis.
- Banner ads within the articles. We will incorporate
your 460 x 60 pixel animated gif on the intro page
for each article and a static banner in the PDF files
of the article itself. We will offer three articles
per month for advertising purposes. We will always
publish at least 3 articles in each newsletter. There
may be more, but we can't guarantee that. The advantage
of these ads are that they will remain on the website
for at least two years after the article is first
published.
Our rate is $300 per ad.
